How are Hurricanes Formed?

Hurricanes can only be formed when the ocean water if 80 degrees Farenheit or even warmer. The air must be cooled off quickly, the higher it goes. Also, the wind must be in the same direction and speed in order to force air up from the ocean surface. Winds flow outward from the storm allowing the air below to rise. Therefore the Coriolis Force is able to create the spin in the hurricane.
